VSB
The VSB-1000 is a dedicated machine for automatic packaging of partially and fully theaded bars in the range M-6 to M-30, and in length of 1 meter.
Threaded Rods are usually sold in bundles of up to 20kg for easy manual lifting and handling. Bundling of these Threaded Rods is generally a manual operation, which has a significant cost in the production process.
The VSB-1000 accepts a bulk of bars, coming after the zinc plating and bundles them into easy to handle, small bundles.
The bars to be bundled are loaded into the machine in bulks of 1 ton.
The Bundling Machine performs the following operations:
- Accept 1 ton bulks of threaded Rods, loaded by an overhead crane.
- Loosen the bulk, Separate and feed the Threaded Rods.
- Align the threaded rods, so all the rods are perfectly square.
- Count and Separate the Threaded Rods according to the preset quantity per each thread size.
- Transfer each bundle to the wrapping station.
- Wrap the bundle by a rope or by welded plastic strips.
- Discharge the bundle into the finished bundle bin.
